#redditodicittadinanza

From a tech employee laid off in Sweden:

"I am the only one laid off from a team of ~10. I have the longest tenure with ~2 years. Two new joiners started this month.

This is breaking the law on LIFO layoffs. I got no answers. I'm getting legal help for the next steps."

People are apparently being told to sign a deal that is not a layoff, but some sort of mutual parting.

Employee groups are self-organizing and contacting lawyers.

Klarna is really messing up this layoff, also in the US by not providing insurance:

More details for those laid off in the US:

Klarna - a Swedish company - likely to not pay insurance during severance. From someone laid off:

"My insurance will run out at EOM (7 days’ time) and not when my severance is up. Truly astounding lack of care from leadership." https://twitter.com/GergelyOrosz/status/1528820992751042560
